Chopin Ballade
Chopin’s Ballade No.1, for me, is not possible to be fully express in a two-dimensional painting. It is a synaesthetic experience in ‘a real environment’, which I call musical-space-synaesthesia hyperstructure. It is like hiking up a mountain, involving all my senses. After listening to Svetlana Rudenko’s piano performance in 2017, I painted ‘Chopin’s Ballade No.1’ and soon after that, a 3D environment mock-up was created (Chopin, Ballade No. 1, Dr. Svetlana Rudenko.
