From plane to space, from space to concept: Marina Linares experiments with a range of creative techniques and media. Whether installation of paintings, combinations of objects or spinning wool – mostly they are included in spatial concepts which refer to a concrete place or abstract topics.
Syntheses are built when a painting becomes a hanging stairway or monumental drawings grow into space, when letters are transformed into an image or paintings are collated to a flower – a multiform oeuvre moves between miniatures for books and land art, between Mail Art and participation.
